This was an extremely organised and efficient study experience for me. I have studied through other correspondence schools in the past and I will definitely be using Lifestyle Learning again. I have done and will continue to, sing your praises.

Studying beauty therapy has broadened my knowledge of skin and body care, which I am now practising religiously. The Beauty Therapy course was a great introduction to the industry.

As an on-and-off security officer, I really wanted to expand and further my knowledge and understanding, and this course gave me more than I expected.

It pushed me to try new skills, write regularly, and always aim to be better. The course was diverse and covered many areas of writing, never a boring module. This course was constructed well and the modules easy and enjoyable to read/study. They covered every aspect of the topic and the assignment tasks complemented this. Through doing this course, I have sent out many articles to magazines and publishers, entered the Women's Weekly Short Story Competition, written an 8000-word story for my HSC English Extension 2 subject. It has helped me with my English studies at school by providing essential practice in creative writing class, and also it has allowed me to find the areas of writing that I am most skilled at and could one day be a career for me after Year 12.

I gained many fresh ideas and approaches to writing interesting and informative manuscripts. I appreciated the amount of excellent course materials. It's an excellent course. I was also very impressed at how quickly assignments were returned. Completion of the course was made easy because of the support of staff. It was a pleasure to tackle each assignment.

I am 60,000 words into a historical novel I am writing. I hope to complete it in 6 months time. It is all thanks to The Writing School.

I learned so many new approaches to writing. I found the modules clear and concise. I have a certificate to proudly display.

Adult learning is a process where desirable changes are brought about, so this course has proven to be a vital and profound experience for me. This unique learning experience has given me a whole new conception of just what learning is! The whole understanding has been challenging and rewarding. The course synopsis taught me procedures and techniques through a variety of modules. The modules sent for each assignment were so well targeted, I hope to be able to sell some pieces of my course work to magazines. I developed basic grammar and composition skills, enabling a higher level of writing style.

I now feel more confident in letting other people read my stories.

I liked that there were no deadlines for the assignments. I was really fascinated by the small details - e.g. harmony, mood, etc. - which make all the difference in the end. Thank you for the opportunity.

It was an interesting learning experience in that it brought to my attention the different ways to write poetry. I found [the course] very easy to read, understand and follow.

The course provided a unique insight into Feng Shui. The course was everything I expected and I can't fault it. I would highly recommend this course to any person seeking harmony and balance in their surroundings. It's all very simple once you know how! I have always been interested in interior design, but felt the basis of comfortable living in harmony was not about the latest trends in home décor, but by being in harmony with what we already have. Feng Shui knowledge gives a balance, when understood, that our surroundings are not about updating our interior, but bringing harmony, peace and balance with a few basic remedies which are all within our budgets.

I was delighted in every way. Each assignment was a great enjoyment to me. To me [the course was] all perfect. I believe that the course has enriched my life. Also, I could see myself developing as I went along. The moment I started the course, excitement filled my heart and I loved what I was doing.

The course went into rigorous detail on spelling and grammar and, while I thought I had good knowledge of these, I often found myself having to think carefully about some words or rules and I enjoyed the challenge. I was pleased that the course also included sections on job opportunities, looking for work and setting up a business. The course exceeded my expectations

It covered the building blocks of writing - how to characterise, plotting, etc. These basics are essential to understand. I had only one expectation, and that was to learn to write, which I did. It was interesting to see how I tackled the different genres and discovered a "creative imagination" for fantasy writing. [Including] different genres is clever because people discover talents they never thought they had.

... for many years the thought of writing and publishing novels has been in the back of my mind. I stumbled across The Writing School by chance and took up the challenge of completing a correspondence course. I've enjoyed completing my assignments and two have been noted by my tutor as potential publishable novels.
